CHEETAH CHEETAH is the new, beat and sample driven incarnation of Dutch singer/producer Peter Vandrie. Raw and energetic, CHEETAH CHEETAH feels like a “2020” parallel universe, where EDM and post-punk coincided with deep, guttural blues. Foreign but at the same time deeply familiar.

Vandrie became an underground star in the Amsterdam Rock-n-Rave scene of the mid 2000s. After years of intensively touring the country with dance band MATIK, he radically changed course with 2012s Not Like Bones, an introspective solo album. In 2018, Vandrie co-composed the soundtrack for the Emmy winning film Etgar Keret - Based on a True Story. For the live promotion of the soundtrack, he performed with Minimal Compact drummer Max Franken in both Amsterdam and his new home Tel Aviv. As CHEETAH CHEETAH he released both the EP Exit Strategy and a music video for the single 9 to 5 (An Exit Strategy) on February 12th 2020
